if someone has tt alleles how do you work out the amount of t alleles in their body cells excluding sex cells?
i am doing my GCSE science in a few days and this was on my mock exam i really do not get it if you know what to do help a.s.a.p please ..

Each diploid cell only has 2 alleles. It is assumed that the T gene is a single gene at a single locus on a particular chromosome. Since there are a pair of homologous chromosomes in a diploid cell, there must be 2 T genes and, therefore, 2 T alleles. In a recessive homozygote, both of those alleles will be t alleles, so the organism is labeled "tt."
Kind of a bizarre question...
